This is a shared demo password, not an identity. It admits you to the showcase; it does not say who you are. Inside, you choose which party to act as — and that choice is what the demonstration is about.
The showcase is two pages, and both of them sit behind this gate. /showcase.html is the v2 interface — the full journey, family and role switching, seventeen screens. It runs entirely in your browser on inline synthetic data and makes no network call, so nothing it shows is enforced by a server. It was served at / until the product took that address; the bytes are the same ones, under their own name. /datastore.html is the plainer page that talks to the real API, where the C15 conditional write is actually performed by DynamoDB and actually refuses the wrong party.
The product is a different thing and asks a different question. / is its front door: an account — your own email address and your own password, never this shared one — and behind it /family.html and /priest.html, where the intake, the availability and bank setup, and the administrator's decision are each written and refused by the server rather than by the page. Those two need no password from this page at all: a bereaved family arriving from the internet does not have one, and handing one out would only be a second secret to leak.
